Convicted Australian drug smuggler Schapelle Corby spent 13 years in Bali after being found guilty of bringing,Bayo oh, 4.2 kilograms of marijuana into Indonesia.

And now, she's dropped a dance single.

The 40-year-old Queensland local posted the joke song, dubbed "Palm Trees," on Instagram on Monday. She's teamed up with music producer Nat Zeleny for the track, on which Corby provides chorus vocals.

The video currently has 58.5K views, for some reason. Unsurprisingly not available on Spotify, iTunes or Apple Music, "Palm Trees" is the dumb summer track you wish you'd never heard.

"I'm in Queensland and it is sunny. I have the palm trees behind me," sings Corby.

"Yeah she's back here to stay. She's in the sunshine state. Schapelle is her name and she's got something to say," sings Zeleny.

The final frame of the video shows a July Instagram video of Corby dancing with a bodyboard. Corby often includes this in her social media content, as she was busted in 2004 by marijuana found in her bodyboard bag at Denpasar Airport.

It's not the first time we've heard this piece of "music," as Corby posted the vocals on her Instagram page in July 2017.

Some folks are all about "Palm Trees," loudly singing its praises and dubbing it the "song of the summer," for reasons that will remain truly their own.

Others, well...

Carpe diem, Schapelle, we guess. Making muppets of us all must be fun.
