Chinese drone maker DJI on Carolee Schneemann: The Politics of EroticismTuesday unveiled its flagship consumer drone, the Mavic 4 Pro, featuring 360° rotating shooting, a 100MP Hasselblad main camera, dual telephoto lenses, and all-direction obstacle avoidance in light conditions as low as 0.1 Lux. The new model’s 360° rotating shooting allows for flexible, dynamic, and multi-angle camera movements, the company said. It supports 70° upward shots suited to capturing landscapes and architecture, and records 6K/60fps HDR video with the main camera, plus 4K/60fps HDR in all three lenses. The drone is equipped with a 100MP Hasselblad main camera with a 4/3-inch CMOS sensor, along with two telephoto cameras: a 48MP medium telephoto with a 70mm focal length and a 50MP long telephoto with a 168mm focal length. Powered by a 95Wh battery, the Mavic 4 Pro delivers up to 51 minutes of flight time, with wind resistance increased to 12 m/s. The standard version starts at RMB 13,888 ($1,928). [DJI, in Chinese]
